Decentralisland: New Distribution of Value

All the time, the macro Economy is fluctuating above our lives and dictating what’s the next global tendency.

The more you’re aware of it, the more you’re navigating in the real ocean:

The Exchange of Value.

Have you noticed for some time now, things have shifted right in front your eyes?

Things are always changing, but this is new. This is… huge.

I’m not sure if it’s just about technology, but something deeper. Something that makes all your interactions (internal with yourself and external with the environment) more uncertain. More “loose”.

Today while I’m writing here, the world is passing through the change.

It’s so big that it is almost invisible. People have difficulty to see it, to feel it or even to talk about it.

We, as society, are dissolving ourselves in a Decentralized Perception of the world and everything around us is behind this filter already.

But it’s not the kind of decentralization which you can point to a hydrant in the street and say: “Oh yes, that one thing is dividing itself in multiple parts”; like it was partitioning itself. We’re not living in a Marvel movie with Doctor Strange making magic tricks in broad daylight.

Although, you can fell things falling apart like that.

You feel the sensation of things breaking. You feel your absolute certainties about life not so stable anymore. You feel parts of yourself dissolving every day and being back together every morning (almost like that).

We’re dissolving ourselves in a larger, more complex evolutional trace.

It’s hard to see. It’s hard to describe. But we can make connections with some aspects of it.

Tax War between Major Economies

The world had a real episode those past days. We can say like we were entering a new kind of economic warfare.

Right to that moment, the global giants were not fighting with bombs anymore (at least, not in the front line), but with tariffs, taxes, and strategic devaluation of meaning.

On April 2nd, 2025, Donald Trump announced a bold new round of reciprocal tariffs, hitting Chinese imports with 67% and the European Union with 34%.

The absurd is was so huge that those tariffs reach more than 100% for Chinese products to be entering the USA and China responded in the same courtesy.

The USA goal? To close a decades-long U.S. trade deficit and force a return to domestic manufacturing.

Right now they found an agreement on those quarrels, but the shift is already taking place.

This isn’t just policy, it’s the beginning of an era-defining strategy shift.

For decades, the United States exported dollars and imported everything else — using its privilege as the world’s reserve currency to print money, fuel consumption, and silently deindustrialize itself.

Cities like Youngstown lost 50,000 steel jobs since the 1980s.

Now, the economic reckoning is here.

The new tariffs aim to:

• Make foreign goods more expensive.
• Spark reindustrialization.
• Trigger short-term inflation in exchange for long-term debt refinancing — especially with $28 trillion in U.S. liabilities coming due in the next four years.

It seems like the USA is trying to hug the world again with arms and legs that do not fit its size anymore.

But here’s the deeper truth:

These policies are not just about goods. They’re about power over perception.

The Old World is trying to keep what was once the rule of the game. They’re trying to maintain what they know and what they have control of.

But what we are seeing is not the cause. It is the symptom. We’re seeing like a bit of desperate actions coming from them. Cause this Generation is witnessing a natural, inevitable movement:

The Decentralization of Value and Meaning.

Centralization as the “Holding Breath System”

Almost everyone hear those terms in a daily basis. The ones more tuned in the Economic movements and innovations are even more familiar with them:

• Decentralized
• DeFi
• DAO

All very interesting aspects in currency and communities of how we as humans are starting to reclaim what’s ours: Perception.

It’s kind of normal in the world nowadays to associate Decentralized Thinking with the emerging of new ways of Money and the Digital Currency, or “tech money” and Crypto coins.

But the real thing is: This is not a “techie trend” at all.

It’s a Natural Movement of Life.

Humans function in every realm of life always in the same way as the rhythm of breathing: Expanding and Constraining.

And I believe that our conscious is all about bringing that natural behavior to all the other aspects of our evolution, including the Macro aspects.

How so?

As an experimental species, we truly go after the expansion of our perception to (sometimes) understand how to focus in what’s really important.

The Real Entropy Movement. It happens inside our personal decisions and is mirrored in our Social Organization.

Not chaos, but the necessary expansion of possibilities that helps us choose with greater clarity.

More stimuli >> more choices >> more awareness From that, we have more Autonomous Valuation.

At some point, Entropy is necessary (and a normal life variable) to broad the vision and bring more complexity (in a good way) to our choosing mental mechanism.

What do I mean about that?

Being very simple here:

You inhale to expand your chest and have more resources to execute whatever action you want.

More air you have in your lungs, more “energy” you have to act.

Entropy, in physical terms, means the dissipation of energy. But in consciousness, it’s the spread of noise, ego, and fear that disconnects us from clarity. That’s what centralized systems do: they spread confusion while pretending to control it.

As you exhale, all the energy you had in your chest is released to give you space, rhythm, and boost letting you repeat the process.

Breathing is choice.

• Inhale = stimulus and expansion.
• Exhale = feedback, letting go, refining.

The moment you stop breathing by trying to centralize and control everything, you raise entropy and stall evolution.

By that, Entropy rises when systems block feedback, flow, and free valuation.

→ Decentralization lets the system breathe, adapt, and evolve.

→ Centralization tries to hold the first breath forever — and in doing so, it suffocates.

So you can, by experience, evaluate and regulate the natural flow of your breathing like in a Decentralize System.

Like in Life itself.

You release air, and by that release, you understand the quantity you really need to keep going.

This is the evolutional trace of open the possibilities, evaluate them and focus in what’s important.

Centralized systems do not function like that. They are the card in the sleeve of all bad controlling evolutional behavior.

See the breathing concept of evolution over there? Centralization is trying to inhale just one time and keep all the air inside, without releasing it.

And, “worse than that” is imagining:

Your body exercising in a running (needing to use the max potential of your breathing) and you’re just holding your breath.

Keeping this analogy in mind, Decentralization works more like the tiny breaths you have to take to harmonize your activity and keep going with the exercise.

Trying to hold the first air you took in the beginning of the running to use it in the whole run is how Centralized Systems works.

You do not need to hold this huge bag of air all at once to have what’s necessary to finish the running (centralized systems)

But you can understand that every tiny breath works just the same as the huge bag of air, but in smaller scale and better to balance the whole (decentralized systems)

Holding the air is killing the body; you have no adjustment, just exacerbated control.

This kind of dictating behavior of holding the air is the same as assigning artificial value; Can you see that?

You do not let the system work naturally by centralizing it, and in this way value cannot naturally emerge, resulting that centralized systems are always trying to dictate what’s valuable or not.

It’s always trying to hold the breath saying that what’s important is the air, not the breathing.

And by that, Centralized Thinking is all about controlling your perception.

The curious thing here is: this causes a lot of pressure. You cannot hold your breath forever. At some moment, the air will have to get out, and the more you hold… the stronger is the necessity to release.

The Gold of the New Age

Have you ever head the sensation, right in the back of your head, that you were being deceived somehow?

In a way that the plasticity of the world is appearing as something almost crystal clear in front of your eyes, but at the same time you couldn’t focus on the truth of it?

If you look closer, that’s exactly what that Tax War actually represented.

An attempt to keep control over the flow of human behavior.

Money is the way we actually measure things. It’s from money and because of money that we have the real notion of what’s growing, what’s fading and what’s needing more attention.

You can understand your own energy and flow of attention, analyzing where you’re investing your money.

And the other way around is also true: you can intensify your attention on something by bringing more money to flow in it.

If it can happen in a small scale as your personal life, imagine how it influences the perception of value in a world scale.

The Tax War was a reflection of this desperate kind of action:

The aim to maintain what’s known.

The attempt to keep all the plastic pieces together of this old fake world of fake goodies. Indeed, you can taste the smell of those values melting in the fire of decentralization under our new sensitive noses for things that are real.

The World Economies were trying (and still are) to keep the attention in what they know, and the conflict between their “inner circle” are the loud scream to regain control over human’s flow of goods, money, and attention.

I already said that fighting over money trade is the same as fighting against the collateral effect? No? So, yeah… the Trades of Money, Tax and Currency are not the real fight here.

The real perception’s shift is happening somewhere else: inside your mind, between your exchanging with your peers, and across the decentralized information we experience everyday through the Internet.

⚲ The Rise of the New Richies

The New Richies are the New Agents of Value. A new generation that values authenticity, proximity, and creation.

The world context all around you and knocking in your door is not something that is happening now, or some external stimulus hitting you in the face.

Decentralizing the structures of society is the manifestation of something deeper happening in your own internal frequency, your own perception of value.

So, by that, the most immersive experience of being a New Richie can proclaim like this:

• People who assign value based on resonance, not propaganda.

And this is making the old world value proposal fall in despair over the search of how to regain attention.

In the past, it was easier; you could just be wiggling the shine objects in front of people (as a hypnotist) and the crowd would just fall for the spell.

Nowadays (for the New Richies only), shine objects are meaningless. They are broke in essence.

• People who choose creativity and closeness.

“I want to buy from people I know”. This one is the Fundamental Statement of the New Richies.

The more creative, the best. The more people can bring themselves to the board, the better… Everything is spinning around the New Perception of what’s valuable.

Even physically far away from the ones you feel a real connection, the invisible line which makes the link between you is clearer than ever.

• People who flow their attention, not just their wallet.

The flow of money is a reflection of Identification. You will not buy something because it is the trend or because someone told you to do so.

You buy because you want (simple, right?). And you know better and better what you really want.

Your energy is intrinsically melted into those digital numbers in your bank account. Spend your money is Investing your Energy.

Decentralization is more than a behavior for the New Richies.

Decentralization is the whole modus operandi of existing.

From that, is no longer acceptable top-down assignments of value. Money goes where attention flows.

What was known as the “prestige economy” is crumbling from the inside.

The old ways of creating mass obedience through brand, flag or institution (auto proclaiming a position of authority) are just dying.

→ It’s so fragile that, back to the Tax War, some Chinese TikTok Influencers were displacing a number of huge old established brands just by showing what really happens in the traditional chain of production in the world. They were showing that goodies with -10x or even -20x of their price could be bought even being the exactly same product, just because they don’t have (yet) the multimillionaire label.

Bring me Freedom of Mind!

It’s funny the way we use to face Freedom.

Thinking about that is always relative to each person. You may believe freedom is a destination, a lifestyle that will always pay off. The lifestyle that will not charge you with any other worry in life anymore.

Living like that as almost a rebellion.

Disrupting what we have as “societal mainstream”, equal of could be winning in Life; Being a winner against the Dragon. Conquering the castle and bringing the princess back.

But Freedom is not mere rebellion.

I use to say that the amount of Freedom you’re aiming for is the amount of responsibility you’re prepare to handle.

Make sense?

Freedom becomes a constructive autonomy.

Freedom leads your actions to be more observational, reasoning and valuing more consciously.

I’m not saying that you should be all about your mind, always in “mind mode” and overthinking everything.

But Freedom brings you back to Presence every time.

And Presence blesses you with the ability of bringing your mind to track; transforming your mind in your own guiding tool.

If Freedom is the ability to respond wisely to a wider world of stimulus;

You begin to understand that True Decentralization is your ability of being your own center of valuation.

You decentralize “the power out there” demanding your own portion of it and holding accountability of your own evaluating skills.

It’s not someone from above that will tell you what’s valuable or not;

You now have the true power in your bare hands: Choose what’s valuable for you from your own intuition and responsible evaluation.

Freedom and Decentralization work hand in hand, you know?

You cannot search for Freedom without perceiving the role Decentralization has in it. They are partners in this game of perception.

Similarly, how can you begin to take free actions in the New Richie way of giving value to the things around you? How to understand Freedom as being able to be responsible of your own evaluation?

→ True value is resonance, not reputation; authenticity, not authority; proximity, not prestige;

• Build real Value around what Resonate the most

The perspective is exactly this one: knowing what’s the real “currency” of the world: which is attention, leading toperception and evaluation.

When you take the power back in this point of view, you understand it’s just about time to the New Richies be building Brands, Movements, and Economies based on authentic storytelling and decentralized trust, not on centralized myths.

The New Richies are already Moving →

So… take responsibility.

In doing so, you change the world in ant steps. You move towards the New Age of Value, intrinsic in the Decentralized Way of seeing things.

Tax War was just the smoke. The last attempt from the old world in hiding the cracks of what they cannot hold together anymore.

Taking responsibility starts with you and reverbs in everything else.

The old world, the centralized way of thinking is trying to mask itself so they can continue (to try) to give the rules of the game with a new-fake-decentralized-facet.

And there’s a very good way to expand your own domain of perception & influence as an Individual.

How so?

1. You can begin by broadening your stimulus and seeking more diverse information. Getting rid of too much curated pipelines (Social Media is great, but remember that the Internet is a way too big than that → Read The Awakening from Organic Portal here to be more in the know about that).
2. Then your reason starts to be more yours as it opens, resonating with what matters the most in this New Perspective you’re building for your own.
3. Almost automatically, your attention will move more consciously, as you begin to realize over and over again that your attention only is indeed the currency.

Your individual manifestation of this will resonate in the Brands around you, both in the ones you value and the ones that will be building from scratch.

This is very important. It’s the way in fact that we exchange value in this stage of our evolution… so, for Brands:

Build from Authenticity.
Don’t polish the exterior hoping it will make the inside feel right.
Be transparent about Origins, Processes, and Real Stories.
Design for Resonance, not mass-market prestige.

You, being a New Richie builder, have to keep it in mind.

The beautiful result of that is in the communities that will flourish from the Individual New Habits and the kind of expression it will generate in Brands and Products.

Those communities will cultivate ecosystems of trust based on lived experiences.

Those communities will foster Decentralized collaboration instead of (exacerbated) vertical hierarchies.

Those communities will reward creativity, realness, and participation.

A real Intuition from the selfhood applied to the “working together”.

Awareness is one of the most important skills you can develop for this time of history, don’t doubt of that.

And I’m saying “skill” cause it’s like a key that unlock something in your Brain: you start to be more perceptive and a lot of details will be brought to the surface of your inner vision.

With that and observing the movements and tendencies around you, you can see better the bigger waves that are bring those ripples to the beach.

The Tax War and the attempt to keep control of meaning is not an economic battle at all; it’s a Human Evolutionary Step.

The steps that will redefine the New Ways of Human Interaction and the New Ways of Building Value.

The Old World already lost the monopoly of meaning.

Internet already is the New Interaction Vehicle which generates value.

Decentralization is already happening as a new way of perceiving the world.

New Richies already are at the corner as the new way of living.
